The entire spectrum
A luminaire designed specifically for the LED light source is already a viable alternative to a number of traditional light sources. Compact fluorescent luminaires, halogen and low voltage downlights can all be replaced with an LED alternative, maintaining or improving upon the efficiency levels. Replacing T5 luminaires, however, is still not preferable, especially in environments which place a large emphasis on user comfort.
There are a few exceptions. Luminaires with opal surfaces, for instance, are already well suited to this technology. From recessed modular fittings and downlights, through to accent lighting and interior design, Fagerhult’s range of LED solutions covers the entire spectrum.
