Our challenge is to translate the store brand into a visually interesting lighting solution. It is important that the lighting solution is seen as part of the store's overall concept and expression and not just as an "add on". Consequently the lighting, the interior design, employees and products all reflect the total image of store brand. In general it is better to aim the lighting towards the merchandise, displays and signs and not at empty spaces on the floor. This creates dynamic atmospheres that draw attention to the products.

Furthermore, why not integrate lighting in the shelves and displays? Narrow-and wide-beam spotlights in combination with integrated color effects can create an interesting visual experience with powerful emotional associations. Shades of green could be useful in an ecological store where as pink could enhance the atmosphere on Valentines’ day...
